New York, NY - January 18, 2012 - Kino Lorber is proud to announce the Blu-ray and DVD release of five films from French horror filmmaker Jean Rollin under its cult/horror label, Redemption Films: The Nude Vampire (1970), The Shiver of the Vampires (1971), Lips of Blood (1975), The Iron Rose (1973), and Fascination (1979). These five films, which have gained cult status over the years for their striking imagery and dreamlike atmosphere, are now presented in new HD transfers mastered from the original 35mm negatives, which emphasize Rollin's masterful and distinct visual style.

The five films each street on January 24, 2012 (individually priced at $24.95 for the Blu-rays, and $19.95 for the DVDs). The discs comes packed with special features, including deleted scenes, interviews, original trailers, and more.

Each disc comes with a special 20-page booklet written by Tim Lucas, editor of Video Watchdog, that profiles Rollin and his remarkable career.

Fascination tells the story of a thief who holes up in a lavish chateau, holding its occupants hostage. However, come nightfall, the thief finds that the chateau is home to a group of aristocratic women with a taste for blood.

Packed with special features, Fascination features supplementary materials including two deleted sex scenes (totaling 16 minutes); "Virgins and Vampires", a 24-minute profile of director Rollin with extensive interviews, from TV series Eurotika!, the original theatrical trailer, and original trailers of four other Rollin films. The film is presented with its original French language soundtrack, with optional English subtitles.

In The Iron Rose (1973), a young couple wander into a large graveyard and, come nightfall, find themselves unable to escape from the cemetery's maze of graves and crypts.

The Iron Rose comes loaded with special features, including interviews with actor Francoise Pascal (20 mins.) and actress Natalie Perrey (7 mins.), four original trailers for Rollin's The Iron Rose, four original trailers of four other Rollin films, an English opening title sequence, and an introduction by Jean Rollin himself!

The Nude Vampire (1970) finds a wealthy industrialist pursuing his dreams of immortality by conducting experiments to share the biochemistry of a captive vampire woman. The man's son infiltrates his father's private club, and becomes determined to free the vampire at all costs.

Rollin's first film in color, The Nude Vampire demonstrates, as Tim Lucas notes in his essay, the influence of science fiction on Rollin's usual stories.
