Live in Concert Original LP Liner Notes! Rudy Ray Moore is known as the "King of the Party Records" as a result of his smash hit recordings, "Eat out More Often," "The Signifying Monkey," and "Dolemite for President." These and other party albums have highlighted an entertainment career for Mr. Moore spanning some twenty years. Rudy has begun to add more acclaim to that title by quickly becoming known as the "fastest film-maker in the West." The Arkansas-born Rudy started out in the film industry a mere four years ago, producing and starring in his first film venture, the smash hit, "Dolemite." The monumental success of "Dolemite" subsequently led to "The Human Tornado," "Petey Wheatstraw," a starring role in "The Monkey Hustle," and now, "Disco Godfather," a hard-hitting action/drama about the debilitating effects of PCP on the community, and the personal effects and resulting violence of PCP on the human body. A drug that is wreaking havoc among the minds of adolescents throughout the country. From the beginning Mr. Moore has given scores of otherwise overlooked young people an opportunity to gain and/or sharpen skills in the technical as well as creative areas of feature film-making. In the same "each one teach one" spirit, Mr. Moore has opened avenues for previously unknown actors and actresses to perform on a professional level. Rudy Ray Moore has gone to extreme efforts to open the doors for blacks who have not had the opportunity to work at their craft in the professional industry. He has provided the only film production company that consistently provides an avenue of work for blacks in the film industry. And, who said it couldn't be done? Album Tracks: Side One: Side Two: "The King of the Party Records - RUDY RAY MOORE - doing his Greatest Party Jokes in a live concert film. -ALSO - Hear Rudy recreate his great Los Angeles Coliseum Concert." |
